Roast turkey is provided hot, and is ready to carve and serve. If roast turkey will not be served immediately after pick up, it should be carved or divided into smaller portions and refrigerated and rapidly cooled for safe food handling.
To reheat, place turkey and any juices in a shallow ovenproof pan, cover with foil, and bake in a preheated 325° F. oven until completely heated through. Individual portions may be heated in the microwave until completely heated through.
Stove Top: Empty gravy into a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Heat over medium heat while stirring until gravy comes to a simmer.
Microwave: Empty gravy into a microwave safe dish (one pouch at a time) and cover loosely. Microwave on high for 2-1/2 minutes. Stir well. Microwave for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, or until completely heated through.
Unopened bags of gravy may also be heated in a large pot of simmering water on the stovetop for approximately 15 minutes. Carefully open bags and pour hot gravy into serving dish.
Microwave: Microwave covered on high for 4 minutes, making sure vent holes are open. Carefully remove cover and stir well, as edges will be hot, and center cold. Cover and microwave on high for an additional 2 minutes, or until completely heated through. Stir well.
Oven: This method produces a stuffing with some crispy edges. Empty cold stuffing into a baking pan or ovenproof dish, and break up with a fork, spreading loose pieces to about 1-inch thickness. Do not pack down stuffing. Bake uncovered at 325° F. for 25 to 30 minutes, or until completely heated through.
Microwave: This method produces a moist stuffing. Loosen the cover, and microwave covered on high for 6 minutes. Mix and fluff with a fork, as edges will be hot, and center cold. Cover and microwave on high for an additional 3 minutes, or until completely heated through. Let stand about a minute. Fluff with a fork.
Microwave: Place paper towels beneath container in the microwave. Microwave covered on high for 5 to 6 minutes. Make sure vent holes are open and check that the sauce does not boil over. Let stand about a minute. Check that yams are completely heated through.
- Keep chilled items refrigerated until ready to heat and serve. Cranberry Pineapple Relish may be served cold.
- Microwave heating times given are a general guide for a 1000w microwave oven. Heating times may vary with your microwave oven.
- Ensure food safety by heating all food to a minimum of 165° F. Check temperature using accurate thermometer.
- Refrigerate leftovers promptly, or discard.
